Have you always known how to install warez?:)

Reason is not the easiest one either if I remember correctly. It can get tricky when you need to install the sound library's.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

i know it was against the forum rules to post about cracked software but there is no need to av such a go at him for asking for advice, not everyone can afford to buy software to start off with so maybe you should all take a break from being elitist consumers and have a bit of respect.

Maybe we should all reread this ---> http://www.dubstepforum.com/rules-t11491.html
4. PIRACY (Dubplates, MP3, Software,Link's to piracy sites.):

Threads generally discussing p2p issues and it's online culture are welcomed.

Threads on ANY part of the forum (profiles and sigs included); revealing, hinting or linking to copyrighted software, movies, music or other protected data ;will be handled by the Admin and Moderators in the following methods:

-A forum member posting a signed tune/s without authorization and with the intent to share it casually via yousendit's, senduits, torrent links, or similar methods; will be immediately banned. There won't be any warning or explanation in regards to this.

-If the moderator's or admin's receive complaints in regards to unauthorized tunes in a mix, the mix may be removed from the forum immediately. Forum member's continually posting up unauthorized tune's in mixes will face a loss of forum priviledges and/or an immediate forum ban, the nature of which to be determined on a case by case basis.

-If a thread is full of numerous posts filled with questionable p2p related info it may be deleted outright with a full explanation posted to the thread starter as well as the main forum.

-A thread with only a few posts regarding questionable p2p related info will be edited and left online.

-A thread with p2p related info that generates complaints sent to the Admin or Moderators will be deleted outright. In certain situations the Admin and Moderators reserve the right to do this without explanation.

Names of p2p Networks (Soulseek, Gnutella, Napster, etc) are allowed in normal discussion so long as they DON'T contain ANY specific information as listed below:
-Ripping/Posting Group Names
-Specific Rooms or Discussion Groups
-Torrents or Seed Links and Names
-Directories
-Released/Unreleased Music located on Specifically Named Networks

People continually posting questionable p2p info will be permanently banned from the forum.
It's there for a reason.
Sharmaji wrote:Folks-- trust me, we're not happy to have to do this, but some ground rules for DSF need to be laid in order to keep this forum in a good legal space.

Basically, under the eye of the laws of most countries, sampling in general does still equal copyright infringement.

DSF can't be involved in copyright infringement.

thus-- threads like the acapellas thread will have to be shut down.

thanks

TeReKeTe, Boomnoise, and the mods.
DjDick was asking specific warez related questions. If DSF gets shut down (although admittedly highly unlikely) cuz of guys like this, the dubstep community would be at a serious loss.

Furthermore, if he'd bothered to do some elementary google searching, he would've avoided looking like a n0(0)b and pissing people off Image

Clearly many people don't have spare cash floating around for software right now. But when things like this kind of setup exist, there is no excuse...! ---> http://www.dubstepforum.com/free-portab ... 73393.html

if you're gonna crack software, why the hell would you crack reason of all programs? LOL.

you obviously don't wanna pay, although you used FL before so perhaps you paid for that? in any case, download Reaper....so you can use the full program but not have to pay immediately, and every week you can throw one dollar under the mattress or wherever until you have $60, and then you can buy it.

or Renoise which is $60-80.

and ROFL at a 4 page thread in ONE morning. this is nuts

Extremely unlikely. Even if it did it would not be long till it was reopened. I dont think people need to be that dramatic about this really.

had to come back and look, just cuz the thread was still at the top of the list

thanks for defending me/the situation. was just a mistake.

and for your information, i chose your beloved google to answer my question first, to no avail.

but, i guess at the end of the day, there are people who have nothing better to do than attempt to harass and police the people who just wanna make some god damn music.

it's a shame really. i post a question in the production thread, regarding the *illegal* (OMFG :!: ) installation of a program to further my music making experience, and i'm attacked from every angle by whole lot of so called "producers"....

sounds to me like what you're best at "producing" is bullshit

as opposed to making sound on your *legal*(OMFG, they must be like..... HEROES :!: ) software.

not saying that i'm right for trying this, but, it seems all of you guys, with the exception of just a few, were just eagerly waiting for an excuse to slap somebody on their naughty little wrist.

once again, BIG UP TO THE DSF POLICE :t:

Clearly not kid.

Here's a few of the Google searches you didn't do.

Google search for'ISO file'

Google search for'how to use iso files'

Google search for'how to use cracked software'

Google search for 'wasteman'

Epic epic fail. Image
