recommend ANYTHING

Post by grimesceneinvestigation » Fri Nov 13, 2009 11:10 am

so yesterday I bought a new headphone, and as excited I was to listen to my music trough two ears again, as dissapointed I was finding myself bored with the same old ghetto techno, balkan beats, grime, dubstep, soul, whatever sets on my mp3 player.

so here goes:
recommend sets or music of ANY kind, whatever you think people should know, and not just because you think you're underrated posting your own music here, or your friends', but because you really think people should know the stuff.

I'll start:

http://typsygypsy.podomatic.com/
both "balkan bangers" sets are pretty heavy.

I thought of posting a goon & koyote set aswell but I just saw it's offline/
if anyone wants this I'll upload:

DP Podcast 19: Mix By Goon & Koyote !

I would like to recommend Good Looking Records 076 Eveson - Food for thought/ Syncopix - So In Need. I'd recommend saving that spare change for a week then buying the VINYL. Thats my recommendation. You could buy the Mp3 but what will you do with all those hands in the air at the club, wave around your mouse pad or pick up your laptop and say "oh yeah" ? Its much more fun to have vinyl to wave around. Also I recommend vinyl for last resort zombie control (via ninja star method.) :t:

I think I just mentioned them in another thread, but doesn't hurt to repeat it. Leaving Records, run by Matthew David (fantastic producer), puts out some ridiculously inspirational stuff, in my opinion.
