just searched ebay, some varying prices on there, perhaps slightly out of my price range at mo
from what i can gather it seems to be a toss up between the AKG's and the HD-25's, but i think they might be a bit too pricey at mo

all i have been doing this week is reading about which headphones i am going to buy. i promise you i have the best answer for that price range. ATH m50. the only beef i have with them is they are closed. but for that price range i can almost guarentee they have the best sub response, linear reproduction, and isolation. sacrificing a bit of imaging due to closed. but were are on budgets, shit. can't win it all. i am getting the ATH m50. on ebay 100 $

Anyone here using Alessandro MS-1 ? I want to get me some headphones too, but on a very tight budget. I heard the Alessandro MS-1 is the best for its price and it gives flat frequency response too.

Made by Grado. I got to check out a pair of low end Grados and I have to tell you I was impressed. Keep in mind they are 32ohms, it's going to be tough to push them with a half ass headphone amp.

Half assed headphone amps? Hmm. I'm planning to plug em into my USB audio interface. Nothing wrong with that right?

I'm a bit wary of such a glowing review from someone who's never owned the headphones?
