For our debut event path is proud to present Shackleton for an exclusive live set. Shackleton rose to infamy in 2005 with the formation of the Skull Disco imprint. Although now disbanded, the Skull Disco back catalogue is arguably the most singular and groundbreaking in the dubstep canon. Through his own productions such as the horrifically insidious ‘Death is not Final’, Shackleton caught the interest of producers operating far outside of the genre. Since relocating to Berlin, he has forged links with the techno fraternity by remixing the likes of Pole and Ricardo Villalobos. Shackleton has maintained his foray into slower tempos with the release of ‘The Three EP’s’ on the highly regarded Perlon imprint. Throughout ‘The Three EP’s’ Shackleton continues to showcase his mastery of rhythm through his uniquely recognisable percussive texture and caustic atmospherics whilst furrowing his own, highly individual path which has transcended any notion of genre and placed him squarely at the forefront of electronic music.
