Re: Classical/Opera dubstep tune
dude your sat on a winner there if i was you id do something with this via 320's to the big dawgs ... limit it and only clip it via your myspace site due to there is myspace rippah programmes out there .... ok dont exspect millions from it ?? but if marketed correctly you'd get some nice funds for your hardwork...ruckspin wrote:called 'miserere'

f*** me.
I wasn't expecting to come home from work this morning and hear something like this. I love classical music as much as dubstep, and I've always hated classical music sounds in "dance" music in the past. But not this time.
Proof, as if we needed any, that innovation in dubstep is as likely to come from this forum as it is from the "big" names.
listen to what others have been saying: DO NOT post a 320 of this track anywhere - this needs to sent in the direction of those who can give it the promotion and/or refixes it deserves. can you imagine what a Coki remix of this would be like??? omg

I love the composition work in this track. Very impressive. I also like the percussion programming. One thing that drags it down a bit for me is the flat snare sound. I would have loved a more compressed/fucked/distorted bass & snare production on this track. I imagine a Vex'd remix could turn it into the tune of the decade - twitchy droid leg stylee.

also if u want to hear another tune by me and planas check out distinction's 'grim up north vol.3' - it's the last track on there... a bit of heavy metal/grime rinsidge

im gunna sound like a right knob end here but hay who cares anyway ....
guys now !!!!!! straight away u have said hmm what label will put this out !!!
ARH!!!! dont do that to yourselves, why dont you believe in your work enough and see the reactions of people so into this music that you need a label ?
THIS MUSIC IS ALL ABOUT D I Y . JUST LIKE DNB IS . even if theres good dubstep labels they will get your money 1st and hay ? leave you with pocket money like i said, its not a pop tune and would be top of the pops number 1 selling 50000 + in a short space of time, but underground level things do sell and people still make money to put food on the table..
trust me guys , remove the quality version from site, replace with either a cut up clip or a 320 of 1-2 mins only so people get a taster,... now send 192 only out to WHOS IN THE SCENE WILL DROP THIS , DONT JUST THINK OF A DJ WHO U THINKS COOL THINK WHOS REACHING THE MOST PEOPLE,,hatcha/plasic/distance/vex'd/bunzero/mary anne hobbs etc loads more ,im not deep into whos who but im sure u know what im on about ....
thing about a 192 it can be played radio wise .. but put it on a system and hmmm ... if these djs then come to you because they consider they NEED it as a 320 to play out and get behind it thats when and only when u should do so ........ anyway thats what i would do if i had produced something like that but hay im me and you lot are you lot ...
again good luck with it in what ever direction you take it ..... piece tpi
