easy all, going Amsterdam for about a week @end of january with the missus, im after some interesting/chill spots to check...places to eat smoke and drink...maybe some obscure museums worth a ganders whilst hazey?

Double Reggae if its still there, just a little bar/cafe with a freaky UV basement. What a find that place was. Memories..... like the corners of my miiiiiiiiind misty watercoloured meeeeeeeeeeeeeemories....... of the waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay we weeeeeeeeeeere.

check the zoo out or the multi level go-carting just out of dam (like mario cart) .... or just get hammered in the red (hill st blues) .

a cafe called hill street blues on warmostraat (sp?). totally covered by graff on the inside, and their own smoke called hill street special, worth lookin out for.

Ok here we go...

Coffeeshop: Near 'Koningsplein' (Central) there is a coffeeshop called de 'Dampkring'. Nice selection of green and brown, nice interior. Plus beer is allowed!

Another one is called the 'Kadinsky'. Situated in an alley near Dam attached to the 'Nieuwedijk' (shopping street from CS to Dam). Its a petite coffeeshop but across the alley theres a bar of the Kadinsky as well where you can smoke your stuff and drink beer as well. Plus there a lot of football matches to watch!

Restaurant (for tea and cakes

): Go into Magna Plaza, its a large warehouse situated near the Dam. Go to the second floor and there you will find a small cafe where you can enjoy lunch or afternoon tea. Good prices!

Another one is situated at the end of the main shopping street the 'Kalverstraat'. Its across of the 'Kalvertoren' (remember that). Its calle "La Place". Its a buffet restaurant with so many different kinds of food. You have Pizza, salades, sandwiches, fresh juice, milkshakes, baked fish, roasted meat, fruit, vegetables, tapas, sushi, go on and on... Everything you want to throw on your plate, its possible, its an international kitchen. Very low prices! This is one to keep in mind!!

If you cant find it (sure you will) theres a McDonald on every corner of the street
