my most listened to mix isnt dubstep, but is cd1 of nick warrens global underground 30. pure blissful progressive house
when it comes to dubstep, i think my most listened to is probably caspa n rusko fabriclive, im pretty sure i had it on rotation for a good month or two solid. after that its probably skreams essential mix (and no i aint afraid to admit that i was once in love with these mainstream mixes, popularity ftw)

Great thread, great selection (esp. your’s pk)

I don’t know if you would want to put down your most listened to? Or your favourite? (I take it most people’s would be the same)

Mine would be the 1st & 2nd Burial Mixes, I think they are better than the album, just for the added samples…it adds to the emotive aspect of his music so much more. Have never experienced different feelings like that through music before.

I also like Youngsta b2b Task on rinse from Like 03/04 or something, when Dubstep was it’s best.

The Youngsta B2B Loefah mix from 2005 is sick and Youngsta & Task one from 2004 is properly sick.

There is so many amazing songs on them.

Probably Forensics Dubstep Mix # 7.

I think Krys Forensics used to send these mixes to everyone in the world, sort of evangelising for the new sound. I didn't pay much attention at first but for some reason the 7th one struck a chord. I basically listened to nothing else for a couple of months.

Tracklisting:

1. Coki - Mood Dub (DMZ)
2. Plasticman - Aquariddim (Terrorhythm)
3. Digital Mystikz - Horrorshow (DMZ)
4. Digital Mystikz - Twisup (DMZ)
5. DJ Distance - Empire (Hot Flush)
6. DJ Distance - Shiverz (Sting)
7. Search & Destroy - Brain Teaser (Texture)
8. Vex'd - Pop Pop (Subtext)
9. Search & Destroy - Wavescape (Storming)
10. Toasty Boy - The Knowledge (Hot Flush)
11. Toasty Boy - Too Hot (Storming)
12. DJ Distance - 1 on 1 (Hot Flush)
13. Search & Destroy - Desperate Measures (Storming)
14. Search & Destroy - Secret Weapon (Destructive)
15. Vex’d - Gunman (Planet Mu)
16. Toasty Boy - Like Sun (Hot Flush)
17. Coki - Officer (DMZ)

Most listened to in the last 12 months are Dubstep Allstars Vol 6 Mixed by Appleblim and Pinch's mix for Tectonic Plates.

The Kode 9 one from Sonar has had a lot of plays over the years as well.

Changed the way I think about music.... dunno if they're my most listened, but they are two of the most cherished files on my HDD. I have to be in the right mood for Burial at the moment.

Most listened is probably Dubstep Allstars 3, if that counts.... it's unbelievably good. The Excision set for Electronic Explorations is up there too... a definite favourite with my housemate, so it gets thrown on quite a lot as a compromise!
