Terminal Dusk drops the last bomb of 2009 with the 1st 12″ in our new split series.
Terminal Dusk veteran Komonazmuk dominates the A side with VCO. Detroit meets Bristol with a blazing, pulsing, tricked up roller, complete with lush ethereal female vocals, serious bass weight & intricate electro leads.
Next up is Boot from Australia with Satellite. This epic track features mesmerizing low end, eerie synth washes, distant hypnotic chants, loads of echoes & delays, and a stellar second drop, pure dancefloor obliteration.
Big thanks to Justin Bergstrom for the gorgeous art work, Z-audio for distribution & everyone supporting these tracks & keeping vinyl alive. Bless.
boomkat writeup :
Terminal Dusk matches Komonazmuk and Boot for a darkside dubstep face-off. Following some killer production work with Appleblim, Bristol's Komanazmuk sets out the sci-fi scoped 'VCO' with elements of late 90's Dom & Roland style synth progressions and extra heavy percussion. Aussie 'step producer Boot takes the other side, unloading eerie synth washes and speaker caving 2nd drop to do the dance in. One for fans of the Mode and H.E.N.C.H
