j-one - The shelter is chilled man! where you get those vocals? is it auto-tuned at all?

Got it from an album by The XX. There weren't too many other elements so I managed to eq everything out... and yeah I auto tuned the voice, dunno why, but thought it sounded pretty sick in the end. Cheers btw!

as much as most people diss autotune... i think it sounds pretty nice. i like how autotune and vocoders make human and machine into one.

would love to learn how to properly use it though

Yeah course mate, it can make dull vocals really stand out and like you said it bridges the gap between the human voice and more artificial sounds. Obviously it can also be completely mincing, I hate all the T-Pain/Kanye West pap... worst of all are heads that use it who can't actually sing at all.

Nice track bro! I like the minimal sound you got going on. In my personal opinion, some low sub and maybe a few stabs would bring it to life abit more.

Nice one!! :D
Thanks man, I just got to a point where I didn't know what else to do with it lol. :D

3rd/4th time into reason, 2nd track made within it :)
I'm liking the live style samples for the drums man, but some of the synths sound a bit thin... maybe a bit more low-mid range in?
i love the synth work from 1:38 onwards.. very melodic

not too sure about the popping noise... its a bit loud in the mix and jarring
possibly a too compressed aswell but i'm not an expert on compression

thanks
ahhhh mate :D

nice one for feedback and also i am like the intro it really is nice keep going and keep up the good work
that bassline is sweet as but i feel it needs more variation
modulate a cut off that progresses
or some pads... just to give it a bit of depth
the bass that comes in at 2:34 sounds a bit fluffy though like its been limited too much?

this is a great idea there is some great tunes on here
:i:
moody as fuck man :) i'm on that
i think the midrange bit that repeats needs a bit more bite though, only a little as i'm feeling the bassline vibe but the mids feel a little too sparse you know?

Cjay theres some nice sounds in that track. I dunno but it kinda feels a bit empty if you know what i mean. Like the feel to it though.

Ive just finished this tune. Any feedback would be great. Can dish out 320s too if anyone wants one.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.
