huge year for me, so many great moments, but heres a few

seeing Pinch out in Los Angeles for the first dubstep show!!! :o :D
Feeling the bass of the music, how warm it was, seein all the smiles on people's faces - knowin they are thinkin the same thing I am.
Bass rattling my $2 Pabst . Awesome :D

All the time at KUCI 88.9FM paid off, about 4 years, and I locked in the Friday 6-8PM timeslot so now there's a solid respectable outlet for dubstep/jungle/drum&bass on the airwaves for southern california.

best moment would have to be gettin booked for Paradox, R.A.W. & Machete @ Respect - big statement as to who I am and what i've been doing. That set was firin too, gettin to play out all the equinox, fanu, breakage, just the awesome drum & bass I never hear out.

2007 is gonna be wild! :E: :P:

Drum & Bass, Jungle, Dubstep, Downtempo, massive bass and wicked breaks.

Walking into 3rd Base for the first time hearing Joe Nice drop Ready to Learn and experiencing the feeling that i'd discovered something only a few know about. Walking into Mass watching it fill up and realising that actually quite a few people now about it, and vibing off that.

October 16th at about 4 in the morning.

Close second would be the bass on "Twitchy Droid Leg" remix knocking the wind out of me moments after I waltzed into my first dubstep dance. Visceral. HiddenSound knows the score.

the dubwar with hatcha and youngsta.

even though it started late because the 13 year old twats singing crappy rock and roll, who somehow managed to get DMC to sing with them, went late it was HUUUGE. The whole experience was magical, from wandering around NYC to getting to eat dinner with joe nice sekle and scuba to the big boy tunes played that night, to the after party getting back to the bus shennanigans.

can't wait till feburary.

ok putting the negativeness aside i guess my best moment of 2006, i guess i cant just single it down to one specific time but if i where to mention something it be heading to fwd every friday.. no better way to end the week then to spend little quality time with friends and random drunk people... big up sarah, amy, slim, all the dj all the bar staff and everyone who has been involved.. big up the bouncers as well keeping me company whilst i eat my dinner out side the venue.

hmm one moment that comes to mind is the last day of shooting of this film i was in.. pretty exciting. oh shizzle and the first time i heard ASBO 1.

Here's a few...

DMZ July. Chef and Benga doing the early set. Chef blew the Mass sideways before rolling on a slightly worse for wear Benga who showed true professionalism by playing an immaculate set. The excitement on that dance floor was unbelievable.

Yougsta at DMZ september and DMZ november.

Tippa Irie at Bash in September. He stole the fucking show.

Mala's set at BM Soho. He got so in to it that Youngsta struggled to get him to stop playing in time for the shop to carry on with Business.

Spinning Dubstep on the Grammaphone's soundsystem

2007 in going to Bang !!

See you all tonight.
