Starting out. Monitor and soundcard combo.

Post by Anakinwasvader » Sat Nov 28, 2009 11:20 am

So, im looking at investing in my first pair of powered monitors. for roughly <£500. After looking around for my needs (which are few, I have no external inputs other than the monitors) I'm leaning towards....

KRK Rokit 6's

+

Audiophile 2496

Will this provide with with a nice platform to start with? Any feedback on either would greatly help,

Thanks.

A very nice platform indeed to start on. I've just picked up the RP8's for £399 after messing round on hi fi speakers and am well impressed with 'em.

Good luck :D

Go for the Rp8's if you've got the change, £70 more, but will give you more 'bottom end', unless your considering a sub...............
