datsik uses massive on the most part, excision posted some of the synths he uses ranging from massive/albino to reaktor or somthing. They use the synth to make a base sound then mess it up with resampling and fx, splitting basslines etc. Their no.1 tip is adding affects slowly and carefully....ie not adding too much of one effect otherwise your bassline will turn to mush. use the search function and you'll find more info.
