can't believe that Dubstep has gone literally 1/2 way around the world. me and the lady went out to Kareem's in old delhi w/ Delhi Sultanate, the wicked ragga mc who'll be on the mic tonite. Can't believe i'm sorting bashy tunes for the dance-- in INDIA-- right now.
Playing in Mumbai next week, and Nerm & D-Code are criss-crossing teh country right now as well. this truly is a global thing.
now... to brostep or not brostep

The LAST thing India needs is obnoxious brostep from Israel.

that gig was amazing. in Mumbai right now, playing on weds & thurs. Delhi was a real eye-opener-- very very mixed Indian (and some non-indian) crowd, looking to get down to new sounds. Waaaaaaay to savvy to fall for some patronizing, i-sampled-something-from-india-and-made-a-tune-around-it dubstep. funky bits worked GREAT, as did randomer, kush arora's new stuff and it was a great chance to test out new Sub Swara material.
the only real obviously-desi leanings i played was Kudi Pataka--which fucking tore the roof off.
