i haven't listened yet, but i don't think you should quit if you enjoy it. everyone sucks at first and has to experiment/practice a lot before they start making tracks that sound okay. i've been playing around with production for quite awhile now and my tracks are just starting to sound sort of how i would like them to sound. keep at it. i'll listen in a bit and come up with some feedback if i can.

Sounds cool man, especially for your first tune.
I would say that it may sound better without the sample, or just don't use it as often. Think it would sound cool if you had the sample at the start and just coming in at certain parts of the track, let the track breathe a little and the other elements of it show of a bit, if you know what I mean?
Keep doing what your doing tho dude.
I'm new to making dubstep myself, check them out and if you have any thoughts that may help me, that would be great

Look for ward to hearing more stuff

Hey man.
I would have to agree with the comment above - the tune is cool for a first attempt
It's nice to hear you've got the synth nicely in tune with the vocal sample; this is something that many producers find very difficult, so you've clearly got a good ear for pitch.
I think the track could definitely turn out well with the addition of more elements in the percussion, as well as more synth layers to achieve a more full and warm sound. I would be interested to hear it finished
I would also have to agree that the vocal could be used more subtly and sparingly. That will also make it more of your own tune rather than a bootleg remix of the track the vocal is taken from.
Keep it up though mate. Everyone starts out at your level, it just takes some commitment and practice to continuously improve. If you're enjoying making the music that is the most important thing
Hope that helps a bit. I look forward to hearing more.

Yeah man it really isn't a bad effort at all. Just keep working at it.
It could use more percussion, and possibly better drum samples too.
And Tolerance, that song is massive, holy.

unfortunately not, my disgusting dad downloaded a massive amount of porn last night giving my pc like a billion trojans and viruses and stuff. My external harddrive was infected which has my track on it.tolerance wrote:Haha, I would have to disagree with that! Had a chance to work on your tune any more?
However, yesterday after reading the amazing comments on this forum i took someones advice and spaced out the sample so it plays every 64 bars rather than the 32 i had. i also added a few hihats and a few samples in the back which gives it abit more life.
Can i ask everyone what they think of that random screaming sample in the middle?
i showed my mates the track, and they thought it was really good but all asked what was up with the scream.
to be honest, i dont know. i just felt the need to add a sample. i've been searching all day for that classic sample of a black guy shouting "C'MON" (the one in Dayn & Daladubz - Fog)
Im pretty sure that would sound alot better than the scream.
Can someone possible link me to a site full of sound FX and random black guys sounding cool things? xD
one more question, is the name Krypton taken for a dubstep producer? its been my nickname for a while (god knows why) but i dont want to let go of it :'(
Krypton.
