VARIOUS!

It's a whole new year of Dub & Ruckus and we gonna kick it off just like this!

Join us as we welcome the Triage boys to the bass cave, a long awaited & often requested Various addition. Veterans Lincolnup & Samizdat will have the floor toasty, and we're pleased to have NY transplant & upcoming producer Antix bring the night up.

Note our date change, pushing this one to the second Saturday of the month due to New Years hangovers...

TRIAGE!
http://www.myspace.com/triagepdx
TRIAGE is the collaborative union of Debt, Liar, and Seth Norman. Raised on the renegade party culture of pacific-northwestern America, the trio discovered a mutual affinity for music production, DJing and the cutting-edge sounds of Drum and Bass in 2006.
Since then, few dance music genres have been safe from their unique dedication to the art of club-flattening bass, sonic experimentation and technical nuance. Releases on labels such as Shift, Dubstep Records, Trust in Music and Onset Audio have garnered attention in dubstep and drum n bass circles alike. 2009 saw Triage, along with DJ Jaden, make their inaugural foray into breaks with a chart-climbing release on the Bombtraxx label.
As the year comes to a close, those following Triage are about to see the most exciting phase yet in the group's swift progression from local secret to international phenomenon. Collaborative projects with luminary artists like SPL, Dementia, and The Bassist are set for vinyl release soon on Citrus, Habit, Hollowpoint, Trust in Music, and Terminal Dusk. The long-awaited Triage remix of Excision's "No Escape" is coming soon on Rottun, and new dubstep singles are slated to drop on vinyl through Requiem Audio and Vicious Audio.
With imminent releases on some of the greatest labels in drum n bass and dubstep music, as well as support and recognition from a litany of artists around the globe, Triage is set to be bigger, better, and louder than ever in 2010.

LINCOLNUP!

Lincolnup is a versatile dj who has performed at shows with Dj Godfather, Jeff Samuel, Starkey, Storm Large, Dj Assault, Doormouse, Filastine, Tittsworth, Holy Sons and many others. He's held numerous residencies and one off parties in both Seattle and Portland, performed at Decibel Festival, Phoenix Festival, and really, really loves deejaying house parties. Lincolnup's dj sets span a wide range of sounds, carefully chosen from Hip Hop, Tropical Post Dubstep, House, New Orleans Bounce, Bmore, R&B, Remixes, Ghetto Tech/Juke, Baile Funk, Disco, Techno, etc., basically most forms of regional electrobass dance music styles. He can really rock a dance party.

SAMIZDAT!

"Samizdat is not a Russian, but he enjoys white russsians and bringing
bass music to the masses. Steadily gaining exposure around Portland,
he's been getting dancefloors jumping and heads nodding with his
dubstep and hip-hop selections. He's looking forward to returning to
Various and playing on the mighty H.A.S. once again."

DJ ANTIX!

Antix is a founding member of the Solobaric and Nature of the Beat Productions. Just signed to Dub Frequency Records out of the UK. The music is beat driven Dubstep, Drum n Bass , Hip Hop, and various other forms of electronic scapes. The soul purpose is an outlet for ideas that overflow from my mind and soul.
