Good luck with the move, hope everything works out well.

Let's not be hasty - I'm yet to finalise anything. Just looking to find out if there was anything I should be thinking about.feral witchchild wrote:Good luck with the move, hope everything works out well.
It'll likely be a move near the end of Feb, start of March - but I'd guess it'll be for 2-3 months first, then decide after that.

philly is shit.
dirty dirty place
good food though.
if i could move away from where im at in the us, to another place i would definitely be in San Diego or the bay area somewhere.
San Diego has some of the best weather in the world. always sunny, and 60/70 degree winters. the drivers there are pussies though, they call out of work for RAIN. FOR RAIN

I think I vaguely agree with this. Although Baltimore and DC are scary.collige wrote:In my very biased opinion: move to Maryland! The rent is cheap depending on which county you're living in, you've got both Baltimore and DC less than an hour away, Philly in less than 2, NY in less than 5, and the entire dirty south below you to visit.
Getting work legally is probably going to be your biggest problem.

Seen. I guess I just have to scope it out first, then see what happens. No harm in doing 60 - 90 days over there to see if it's worthwhile.kay wrote:Getting work legally is probably going to be your biggest problem.

The cheesesteaks alone are worth the move to Philly.
