MARCUS VISIONARY'S "CARIB EP" IS AVAILABLE NOW AS A 6 TRACK DIGITAL RELEASE
WITH TWO FEATURED SINGLES AVAILABLE ON 12" VINYL VIA LIONDUB INTERNATIONAL.
"A fantastic collection of Dubstep, Marcus' own Subsoca selections, UK Funky & Steppers.Just a taste of the first full length album from Toronto's Marcus Visionary."

LionDub International continues to push bass driven music forward by returning to its very roots. This hotly anticipated EP from one of the giants of the scene, Marcus Visionary, promises to bring even more attention to this exciting International label.
Drawing heavily on Visionary's complex cultural heritage - Marcus has Amerindian, African, Guyanese, Portuguese, East Indian and British ancestors - The Carib EP experiments with the 140 bpm tempo, dear to him already by its closeness to reggae. From the soca tinged party vibes of 'St. Vincent', to the harder edged wobble of 'Left Foot Skank', to Johnny Osbourne's drifting, reggae-fused vocal on 'Coffee & Tea', this EP is destined for the clubs, but it has the deepness and the flawless production needed to be appreciated outside of them as well.
With guest spots from Johnny Osbourne, Luciano, Jahdan Blakkamoore, Satori and LionDub himself, the EP is a well-rounded showcase of vocal and production talent. The reggae and roots fans among us will undoubtedly be familiar with some - Osbourne is renowned for his massive 80’s dancehall smash 'Buddy Bye', while Luciano has been hit-making since 1992. Jahdan, a member of the legendary Boot Camp Click, who has worked most recently with Nina Sky and Major Lazer, offers up 'The General', a heavy dubstep anthem that has been smashed worldwide since its vinyl release in April. On this EP, Visionary presents these artists with all the finesse that his wealth of experience affords.
Already receiving support from the likes of dubstep heavyweights Ramadanman, Rusko, Mistajam, Pendulum, Breakage, Drop The Lime, Noah D & NYC veteran tastemaker DJ/Rupture, The Carib EP is an exciting taste of what we can expect when Visionary's full album drops in March of 2009.
