Laptop recommendation mix and production
I try to enter in Mix / Production field but I don't know much about laptops. I have thought to buy a mac book pro Core 2 Duo 2,8 GHz with 8 RAM GB. But if you know a good equipment you could write an answer. I don't know anything about mix field but wich are the essentials items / tools to buy for use with the laptop system.
Abbleton, traktor wich hardware I need to mix with this software. I need help, any opinion?

Re: Laptop recommendation mix and production
if i can run live 8 plus vsts on this shitty 3 year old acer aspire than anything should be fine.
but i'll admit i have been considering getting a refurb mac since they seem to be standard for live performance

I've got a Dell Studio. About half that price and just as powerful. I've run windows 7 and it's class. No problems with latency or glitches.
If you're dying for a mac though don't go overkill like that. Unless you're after running a big studio on it.
