Sodium Nightlife new 320 mp3
Hi there, i've just finished a track and thought i'd post it here for evaluation. I use all free programs, and this is only one of the first few tracks i've produced that has actually sounded any good. It's not perfect, so any feedback you can give me - fire away!
thanks, Jacob.

Kind of like it (although the section starting at 3.20 approx sounds a bit wrong). Like the glitchiness and the electro feel but I think the structure lets it down a bit, sort of meanders off without really having a destination.
It's quite quirky though and it's good to hear someone doing something different. I think a few hints of reverb and maybe some other instrumentation might ease the parts where there's not too much going on as it sounds a bit bare in places as it is.

Hmm....

Anyhow thanks again, i think i'll post another tune shortly, don't want to saturate the board though haha. have a good night.

could see where you were goin with the brass, didnt quite work though - i think the samples could have been stronger, but with tighter arrangement they'd work nice....sodium nightlife wrote:thanks alot for listening. yeh i find structuring tunes one of the hardest bits - was reading with interest the topic on it started today. point taken about the horns - i wanted to try something with them but you're right, i'm not sure they really fit.
