2. Burnin Up, it came out like... 2 months ago. Too soon to gauge the impact of the tune. Skream tunes like Dutch Flowers, Request Line, Glamma, etc all come to mind. Of these I only really like Dutch Flowers myself but in terms of impact undeniable.

Ever since Skream started playing Burnin' Up (which is, I think, almost a year if not more ago) more and more dubstep producers started making their jungle tunes so it definitely had an impact.

3. Don't like Night if for no other reason than it's been rinsed to death. However given that fact it probably belongs on the list.

It's the (one of the) first dubstep tune that got very popular outside the dubstep scene. BBC even started playing it in the daytime schedule on the radio, so it was an important tune.
And it was a sick collab too

6. Not a fan of this release. I don't get the hype here. Apparently it's deserving of the station because everyone else loves it.

Haha this, Untold can make sick things but personally I can't stand the majority of his work.

7. This tune and anyone who plays it should be shot dead. Immediately. It's over, let it go.

I pretty much get that any list will piss off about half of all people looking at the list. If you have an opinion of music no list but your own will be acceptable, ya know? It's whatever though. Sharmaji moves asses on the dancefloor. "I seen him!" - Dave Chapelle, Half Baked. He's played some tunes I wouldn't have thought to consider, and he did the most important thing of all, Named XI as the first on the list of forthcoming/current bigshots. If you've heard his forthcoming EP on Surface Tension, his forthcoming release on Formant, his forthcoming release on Immerse, I believe he has a forthcoming tune on Pressing Issues...

The honorable mentions was the best part for me. We can debate everything else, but I didn't know any of the honorable mentions outside of XI and to me, that is a good thing. I like to think I've heard everything forthcoming and already out. This honorable mention list just proves Dubstep is a global movement.

And Burnin Up didn't start any Jungle/Dubstep movement by any means. Ekaj? Abz? American guys did this from the get go as well, like 2006 era. But like I was saying, any good list breeds debate. Sharmaji has put up a good list and tbh it's the one that counts-it's on the MTV website for millions to read

I would probably replace "2 Bad" (even though it's one of my fav tunes) for "Zomby - Spliff Dub (Rustie Remix)" or "Joker - Digidesign". Since there's no reference to the synthy type of sound.
Yes, "Horror Show" would be there instead of the "Punisher Remix".

Overall IMO it almost covers everything, this is really difficult task to make but I think you nailed it.

Nice, love the selection. Ofcourse, we all have tunes which we play out more than others but seeing it from your point of view was...refreshing. really has made me get 'left leg out' out agian and got me having a few mixes with it, always end up putting the needle on blue notez for some reason.

You've also got me to look into el-b in greater detail, never really paid attention to him even though ive seen the man hailed as one of big guys behind the roots of dubstep, being really a late comer to the scene around 2007.

Fianlly, ive always thought hessle audio was a little gem of a record label and untold a great producer. 'Kingdom' is also just one of those tunes you just cant help moving a bit of that neckbone to, qaulity stuff.

That may be true. There are a lot of followers in the scene but like I say there are plenty of producers that have always had this as part of their sound and furthermore it isn't a significant movement in the scope of the decade.
