the Voltron movie is being produced by Pharrell Williams and Mark Gordon- "The Day After Tomorrow":

"One thing will be certain about the Voltron movie: It'll have a cool soundtrack. That's the hope of Pharrell Willams, leader of the Neptunes and executive producer of the movie Voltron: Defender of the Universe. In addition to producing the film and its soundtrack, Pharell will also write the score.

The Voltron movie is being produced by Mark Gordon, who produced the films The Day After Tomorrow and Saving Private Ryan. The Voltron film joins a growing roster of '80s cartoons that are making make their way to the silver screen, including John Woo's He-Man, Spielberg and Bay's Transformers, and The Smurfs."

John Woo is making a He-Man movie?? BIG!!

Who remembers "Masters of the Universe"? That movie was so fucking lame...it's barely even worth acknowledging. He-man deserved a second chance.

Also, wtf does Pharell know about making movies? Something tells me that at some point in the movie Voltron will start popping and locking.

they shot that piece of shit he-man movie in my hood when i was 11- not sure why they would want to remake he-man, he's not an interesting character in the least. I am waiting for ROBOTECH- that shit is gonna kill when they decide to make that shit. Neuromancer will rule as welll.
And I'm spent...

A friend who works at sony emailed a friend of his who works for ILM. This is what he had to say about that supposed transformers movie clip:

Uber fake...

Not at all what ILM dailies or slates or whatever look like. Saw
this a little while ago.
