A good pair of headphones for all-round use?

Post by hectikx » Fri Dec 25, 2009 7:31 pm

Ez

I'm looking for a pair of headphones which I will primarily use for listening to tunes, but also for production and mixing as well. I'm not looking to break the bank, so I'm looking at 60 quid tops, and could stretch that a bit if they are worth it. I'd kill for some HD25s but dollar is low atm. What do you reckon to the HD215s?

It would be sweet if you guys could come up with some recommendation to help me choose the right pair. Safe.

as said, about 60 quid tops but could stretch that a bit.

some hd202's might do the trick to be fair, they don't look too bad. just looking for a nice clear sound, decent bass but not too muddy.
