I like congas more personally. But I think bongos shine best on real minimal shit. straight tribal flex or what have you. minimal melody and all.

i love percussive stuff so much! the three examples are all personal favourites of mine, i can't get enough of the percussive and dark vibes in dubstep! the majority of my latest stuff is like this stripped back with little or no melody, just BONGO TIME! listen to truly dread by loefah and tell me you don't like bongos ahahah :D

dholak, dhol, and tabla samples in "Bombay Squad." More djembe (and layered bongos) than anything else in "Indian Stomp." Off the top of my head, no tabla in that one.
