Games were harder back in the day because you couldn't save them, too.

Ahhhh, spending entire saturdays and sundays trying to complete games in one sleep deprived sitting, with your Sega getting hotter and hotter till the power adapter got white hot.... and then your parents telling you to go to bed, and you only turn off the tv, but not the console. Wait till they go to bed and then carry on.

And then wanting to kill anyone who 'accidently' touched the reset button while you're on the last level....

Oh, and the hardest game I think I've EVER played was the original Prince of Persia.

(And Assasin's creed is basically a poor man's Prince of Persia. AC was so incredibly repetitive I almost cried. I liked the bits where you could jump off the towers into the hay though....)

This assassins creed sounds much better. I am lame enough to read video game magazines and this was featured in one of them.

They have revamped the fighting system and added the ability to swim along with other new abilities.

Was I the only person who thinks the driving system in GTA IV was complete shit?

mario, i could see how a person could complete it.
But you completed sonic? i almost dont believe you
What? Sonic's pretty easy, mate. Me and a mate used to record our sessions on VHS so we could prove our times to each other.... Sonic was all about completing... that was the whole point of the game... finish it as quickly as possible whilst collecting all the crystals!

Who remembers that sick half pipe mini-game in Sonic 2? I used to be Tails on purpose so I could jump into the bombs and lose rings, coz' it vex'd my mate up something hilarious.

i think most games ive got on xbox have been huge disappointments.

GTA4 being the biggest one.

Seriously, what a load of shit. People moan on about the story being of cinematic quality aswell. Thats even more shit. Was a straight-to-dvd-bargain-bin-movies4men ordeal if anything.

I just found it incredibly boring, the shooting mechanics were poor and they even fucked up the driving.

It was just a shit game for a GTA.

It just lacked "fun." On San Andreas and Vice City you could have fun just driving around aimlessly, checking out all these cool spots and shit. IV just seemed so flat and dull.

the 1st one was shit the free running was fun for like an hour and the missions were mega gay. Sold it pretty soon after buying it.

Wont be buying this unless its got some sick online mode and is actually better than the 1st. Another game that was too overly hyped. GTA was well hyped as well and wasnt amazing..

godfather 2 looks good though :)

oops didnt see anyone has written about gta ha

yeah i agree there. They've made it too realistic when what made the old GTAs so fun was being able to do whatever you want. There's no planes or parachutes or bmx's or any fun stuff in this one.. just some gay helicopter

Don't normally play video games any more but I bought this the other day because it looked interesting. I have got to say that this is the best game I have ever played, it is so beautiful, story line is really good and the game does not get tedious or boring. There's loads you can do on this that keeps you interested unlike the first one. Seriously I recommend this game 100%. Also the music is really nice, especially when you have no notoriety in Venice. What does everyone else think of this?

Badboy game. I thought the first one had lots of potential but was really lacking in the end. They've pretty much fixed everything that was wrong with the first one though. Double hidden blades for the motherfucking win

This.

Everything that was missing in the first game is in this one. I though this game was fucking sick. Atleast they didn't have repetitive missions like on the first one, it constantly felt like the story was moving and it made me keep playing till i completed it.

If you liked the first one but didn't feel it was enough i recommend this one as it delivers all that was missing!

I still haven't played this! Mostly because of the fact my brother got his XBox chipped and banned. :x
