i;ve got plenty of sampled breaks etc lying about on my hd but although i;ve also got a load of single hits not many of them are much cop. I've chopped single hits from breaks when i've needed to but what i'm looking for is crisp, tight electronic kits in a Benga/Coki/The others type stylee.

Is there a particularly good reason refill or sample cd out there for drums a la Coki/Benga styles?

Mate, if you can get hold of the hip hop kits that were posted up somewhere then thats sweet. Use them a lot for single hits. All Little Jon, kanye West, Timberland hits etc and are tight as fuck as they have been processed in the worlds top studios. I got them of a mate so i dunno where u would find them.

i spent a couple of days once arranging drum folders that i can get to easy on my pc

takes a while but worth it

also its all about layers

try filtering one kick underneath another

like a 909 underneath a hip hop sample-it hits a little deeper

Would it be possible to get hold of these samples off you at all mate?

I have the Neptunes, Dr Dre, and the Wu Tang producer kits, and maybe some of the other ones as well if i raid my samples folder. I'll upload them soon
