Production ability needs slight improvment. The levels are not correct but some good ideas.

thanks...i am working with the dub style. I know i am not the best but to me these are some decent tracks. I like them. I agree with the previous poster somewhat.

You overall track volume is not good. You should just listen to more dubs from established producers and compare them to your dubs. So what's the difference? Your trackmixing is wack. You have that perc synth that's louder than your drums and it sounds not good. Read the production bible about 10 times over in the production forum. That may actually sort you out some.

The difference is you are not paying attention to the things that are most important. If you want to write quality dubs, there are many things you will need to work on. I would spend at least a year just learning about sound in general, I would pay more attention to my levels and how my frequencies are supposed to sit in the mix. I would spend a lot of time listening to quality dubs and learning what makes them quality, constantly going back and forth between the quality dubs and your dubs and try to understand what the differences are. If you can't tell the difference between quality dubs, mediocre dubs and poor quality dubs then how are you supposed to understand what is what?

Also you responded to your own thread 10 times in 2 days, that's just lame dude, have a little patience. Be positive, you will not get anyway on this site acting like a tnuc I promise you that. Did you ever think that feedback or advice isn't all you need? It's attention to detail, learning techniques and working on them until you have mastered those techniques.

You have 2 choices.

1. You can keep acting like a jack off and post a song and respond to your own posts with frustration and anxiety over why people are not responding.

2. You can work more on learning about sound and about track volume, how to produce a quality snare, how to produce a quality kick drum, how to produce quality bass, work on understanding rhythm and percussion, learn more about software and what works for you and be a positive.

This site is much bigger than you and what you need to do is to learn how to be part of it and be positive. I would take choice 2 if I were you.

It took me about a year to get good feedback on what I was doing, it took a lot of studying and a lot of hours spent on developing sounds properly.

Good luck. and don't respond to this either.

Actually I am just tired of people only giving people that make post like this comprehensive reviews...case in point. I didn't say I get bad critiques....i get NO CRITIQUES! There's a difference. My stuff ain't THAT bad. Mediocre at times, but I deserve more.

How could you be tired of not getting critiques, you've only been a member since Nov. 09. I went through most of your posts and have come to find that about 70-80% of your posts are about you wining about not getting critiques. 15% are you giving harsh negative feedback and tips that are generic in description, such as "Turn the frequency down and compress". I'm not certain that you really even know if what you are talking about is correct or by any means helpful. Possibly 5% of your posts have a small hope of positive feedback..

You may not understand this culture but you will not get far with it as long as you carry that harsh, bad attitude and come across as though you have any credibility at all. Maybe you should go through some of my posts to understand what feedback means. This place is for constructive feedback and it should be handled in a way that other artists can gain some kind of constructive help about what they are doing. Not just "I'm not feelin' it" or "this track is wack, your drums sound cheap."

After reading through your posts, as far as I'm concerned, you have shown no respect on this forum.

And by saying that you "Deserve more" is a load of crap I do not think you have done much at all on this site but bitch and moan and give harsh criticism about people's dubs. Take a look at about 11 months of my posting on this site and using it to help me and others along the way.

I'm done with you. I don't like you or your attitude at all. I hope by this time next year a can think something different.

People on here usually dont say anything if they dont like your music. Most people tend to get really defensive about critism so confrontation is usually avoided. In a perfect world everyone would just speak their mind, we dont have a perfect world. I have defo seen some good stuff get ignored on here so I dont have a problem with bumping but after a few goes with no luck its time to think about forgetting about it. what you are doing is a good way to get people to lay into you, maybe its good, the reality may push you to do better. never forget noone owes you anything, noone asked you to become a producer and write track.

Hold on...when was this about people giving me harsh criticism. In all actuality I get VVVVEEERRRRYYY few negative criticism on this board. Yes , everyone's not going to "feel" my tracks. But when I ask for a review. Some people should help me out. Criticism is a part of learning. But I am a hip-hop producer...what do I know...

new track coming soon off the "Whodi" Mixtape.
