After years of efforts in the deepest level of the underground and in the shadow of other genres, "breakcore" has come out in the closet in the recent years, and acquired its spot as a musical in itself. Bringing the raw attitude of punk to electronic music, this bastard child of drum'n'bass, noise and hardcore is now recognized and played worldwide. And guess what, Berlin's one of these cities seen as the center of the storm.

Ad Noiseam is happy to bring two Berlin two of the best known and most established figurehead of breakcore for the first date of their new European tour: Bong-Ra (NL), coming from Holland to unleash his mixture of fast hardcore, dancehall anthems and metal riffs for the pleasure of all headbangers and Enduser (USA), worldwide known for his infectious mixture of the best drum'n'bass and the best crafted breaks. Joining these two on stage will be Übergang, the new project of the musician formerly known as Christoph De Babalon, who has recently released a much talked about follow-up to his releases on DHR and LFO Demons, one of the longest standing Berlin-based breakcore artist.

Behind the decks will be Christoph Fringelli, the head of the Praxis label and a driving force behind all kinds of breakcore and twisted drum'n'bass, Cora S., manager of Mental Industries and very active in the underground Berlin musical scene and Marius Reisser, of the prolific Repeat Repeat collective, a pillar of the scene when it comes to electronic music in Berlin.

A perfect way to kick in the fresh year 2007, melt down the snow, get introduced to new sound and party till dawn, "Breaker Madness" also serve as an introduction for the onslaught to be unleashed on Berlin with the 4th edition of the Wasted Festival on January 26th and 27th during the Club Transmediale Festival at Maria Am Ostbahnhof.

The first date of their tour, "Breaker Madness" will also be the release party for the new Enduser and Bong-Ra records on Ad Noiseam: a split 12" / CD entitled "The Kill" and a new Bong-Ra record, "Sick Sick Sick".

That's true, this concert is a polka / western night. But considering how often the performing bands are mentionned on this forum, I thought I'd mention the show here.

Damn. Then I hope that some of these people drop dubstep tracks in their set, it'd mean I haven't spoiled the fun of people who like only and exclusively this subgenre

There are two guys performing on stage for this show, hence the "s" at the end.

It's the "original" guy plus somebody else.
or have they released stuff with two in the past?
Not that I know of. But let's see tonight what they play together. :)

Watch out, they will play early, starting around 23:30 / 00:00.

too bad i don't live anywhere near Berlin
if not i would have probably been there, i pretty much like bong-ra's tracks, enduser is less my thing but the lfo demons liveset would have made it worth anyway.
well.
bong-ra, enduser, bong-ra & sickboy as servants of the apocalyptic goat rave, etc.. here in belgium soon (if it's not the case that i missed it though)
