vulvavibration wrote:finished up that track... now, what confuses me is, that on my monitors and the club rig the sub sounds really great , heavy and gives pressure to the chest.
but on almost any other system it has no pressure and the rhythm of the sub can't be heard (it should actually accentuate the main beat)

would love to hear some feedback! (and yes, will give back ;))

big up and thank you

Soundcloud

liked that one... my vibe dark and haunting....love the breaks, beats, vocal, atmospheres, brooding deep basslines... just my kinds tune..

great work!!!

only one thing I would say is perhaps bring the rehabilitated sample in at least one more time towards the first half of the tune......

actually no Ive changed my mind...... its great as it is, think ive listened 3-4 times now!

Sampled an old school rave track then mashed into dubstep after the drop, kinda like doctor p - sweet shop style:

What do you think?

@Tragic Gash- That tune made out the house and garden noises or whatever- wow. When it first came on I didnt know what to think, and then as it progressed I really liked the swing of the beat and the sub bass fits really nicely. It actually reminded me of something burial might do!

The intro before the bass comes in does need a little tweeking- its a bit too harsh and made me think what the hell is this?? but as the tune goes on the clicks and that droning sound are just incredible.

A great song and truly unique!

Could you listen to my track 'nuclear winter' on my soundcloud and give a little feedback :?:

Cheers

Good work mate, lot of thought and effort. a bit more work on the EQ perhaps but i think a lot of tunes are the same at this level? nice tribal vibe.

Cheers man... Cant seem to get soundcloud to play anymore on works tinterweb so will give yours a listen when i get home mr Trip...

nice one

EDIT... it loaded at last, nice vibes as always man...

Maybe there is a frequency cut that you could do on the snare so it keeps its impact but sounds a tad less harsh, i would also add a few sporadic dirty noises to the bottom end perhaps?

thanks for the feedback :D i think i will rework the intro a little sometime, the transistion isn't as smooth as i would like anyhows, so i'll soften it a little whilst i'm at it.

had a listen to Nuclear Winter, definitely digging the intro, sounds like some proper retro terminator soundtrack sheeeeet, however, wen u drop u lose all of the atmosphere u had in the intro :( i would definitely try to explore ways in which u can keep the feeling of the intro going wen the tune tune drops. also maybe layer a sharper sounding over the b line and give it a more defined sound? hope that helps anyway

Cheers man, js wondered what exactly u mean for me to do with an EQ? is it there are resonant frequencies that need reducing or like the general mix of freqs is out of balance? would definitely like to kno if u think somethin in the mix is out of balance, would be v helpful :) cheers

lol wat u tryin to say about my pseudo-kazoo mans? nah i'll definitely think about gettin rid of sum of the distortion...
it wasn't really intended to be garagey but ur right the rhythms do lend themselves to that feel :P

cheers for the feedback ery1 :D
