Yeah, this. He fell waayyyy off somewhere inbetween Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show... and just about everything since then has been utter fucking trash. There's little in this world more annoying than the weird eastern european voice he's been using for the last few years.

I tried to like it. I really tried. I thought there was just a glimmer of him coming back properly for a moment...

It's shit, though.

So what, you know about a sweet MC, in the 313
You don't know shit so when you see one flee
You can be Run-D, you'll never beat the MC
I'll stop the alphabet at S and got it down to a T
I'm sure your bound to agree, a sweet MC crashes the spot
I'll make the roof hot like I was Rock Master Scott
Your ass forgot, so just in case you don't remember me
I'll run your brain around the block to jog your fucking memory
It's either them or me man, kill or be killed
You will and be sealed your casket closed you still gonna be billed
My facilities filled with fans, packed to capacity
I'll send a rapper back with the crack of his ass shitty
If he's acting soft and he cowers
He better come cleaner then Jay Rue jacking off when he showers
You flowers got no clout with a thing
You could date a stick of dynamite and wouldn't go out with a bang
I showered the slang, simple as A,B,C's
Skip over the D's and rock the microphone with E's
Dethrone MC's and I'ma max alone
Relax your dome like a solo from a saxophone
So facts are known, writers get treated with shocks
I rock a beat harder then you could beat it with rocks
I'm greeted with flocks, of fellow follower's singers
You couldn't make the fans throw up their hands if they swallowed their
fingers

But you can bring yours let's see what you got
But don't front and never try to be what you're not
Cause you can be quick, jump the candlestick, burn your back
And fuck Jill on a hill, but you still ain't Jack

HARD!

i still think any man off soundbombing 2 is sick but i can't be doing with a whole album's worth of "oh poor me" nasal whinging. infinite's ok and there's 2-3 decent tracks on slim shady lp but pretty much everything after that is fucking gash

Eminem's head looks like a poorly shaved testicle with a face on it.

(and his tunes are shit)

This is the one.

I wasn't feeling Relapse too much. as I said before subject matter is repetitive.

still....that album was probably superior to most of the mainstream hip-hop that came out in '09

Some of his best tunes have been his collabos.

But at his peak he was too scared to go after Canibus - and that's the battle everyone wanted to hear.
He was off the ball after that. MMLP was the last Cd of his I bought.

Infinite, The Slim Shady LP and The Marshall Mathers LP are the only ones worth getting. All three are great. The Slim Shady LP is definitely my favourite though.

Yep, that always seemed like a bit of a pussy move... for someone who prides themselves as a battle-rapper, he certainly picked his opponents very carefully.

I have to say, he got me interested again during the whole Shady/Murder Inc/Source Magazine thing though... there was a few fun tunes came out of that. Nothing groundbreaking (making Ja Rule or Benzino look silly isn't difficult, is it?), but pretty entertaining.

Yeah, he did a tune called "The Sauce..." - lyrically brutal beyond belief, but Benzino is a plank - hardly worth going for.

Canibus would have ripped him a new one though.

I found the disses to be hilarious from all sides. even if Ja Rule and Benzino are jokes they certainly didn't back down nor seem to take Eminem seriously.

Benzino had some hilarious disses.

But Nail In The Coffin shat all over everything. Hail Mary Remix was gold as well.

The best part of that was when Royce started dissing Eminem. And in the same way he backed down from Bis, he had no response (that I know of or remember) for Royce.
