Oldboy, if you have yet to see it. Get on on that at your local torrent site near you. Cannibal Holocaust for the real animal dismemberment while alive. Mayrters - nuff said. Inland Empire... I don't know if anything can be said about that movie. Necromantic well that one made me giggle. Slaughtered Vomit Dolls for being well completely fucksauced from beginning to end... and the eating the brains out of the head and drinking the vomit for what seemed like 15+ min kind of got to me.

You want to find the number 216 in the world, you will be able to find it everywhere. 216 steps from a mere street corner to your front door. 216 seconds you spend riding on the elevator. When your mind becomes obsessed with anything, you will filter everything else out and find that thing everywhere.

He should have idkfa, and iddqd'd, or stolen a cops gun at the end. Suicide is more fun in groups.

Bijitâ Q (It doesn't leave you numb but it's definitely a wow. The fact that it has such a happy ending after witnessing tsecni, murder, necrophilia, domestic violence and many other things and you've laughed all the way through leaves you with a very odd feeling.)

Dog Days (Hundstage, austrian)

Gut wrencher. It's a great movie, but it's horrible, horrible, horrible. It basically shows lots of sad destinies in some Austrian suburb during some crazy hot summer days. All of them seem well plausible. Extremely fucked up movie, yet you think 'this is probably going on every day somewhere'.

This movie is trash. The only thing that made me feel uncomfortable about this piece of shit is what a blatant cash in it was on the controversy surrounding Cannibal Holocaust.

EDIT that came across a a pretty moody bit of posting, I just hate that flick is all

Lilya 4-Ever Brilliant film though not an easy watch by any means, the ending is so depressing yet beautiful at the same time.
Talk To Her, another film infused with sadness and melancholy yet beautifully filmed[the black and white movie within the movie thing is stunning].
Happiness is a warm Eccles cake

Eden Lake.

When I finished watching Requiem For A Dream I felt this sudden urge... this desire to just let out a giant fart and say "what a load of melodramatic bollocks."

Downfall.

But not for any of the Adolf/Eva bits... I managed to cry in front of my entire household when Magda Goebbels was killing her kids in their sleep, gently getting them to bite down on capsules before committing suicide.

Terminator 3 and Die Hard 4 both left me uncomfortably numb, although that may have just been down to my heart breaking in certain places.
