Have you ever googled your name?
Give it a try and post 3 other people that have your name and what the results are about..
1. an article about a basketball team winning a silver medal. one of the players has the same name as me.
2. a facebook profile.
3. a sex offender in florida .
its pretty scary sometimes what google can return.. but also interesting to see what others that have your name are on the internet about =]

Re: Have you ever googled your name?
I am the only person on the planet with my name, which is nice to know, but I typed my name into google yesterday and it gives all my work details so if kp mike wants to know where I am between 9-5 Monday to Friday then its not to hard to find me.

My top 3.
1. My twitter account. (I don't use it - I just got it so no one else could.)
2. My mate's twitter account with a link to my twitter account.
3. A friend from college's myspace page with my name on it.
My name is pretty unique...

Re: Have you ever googled your name?
Most of the results for my name are about christmas cards, though there is one link that is about me which is a blog post about some PHP code.

Apparently I'm a Professor of Modern European History in Leeds, was Bishop of Buckingham until 1994 and am an underused television stunt man who only ever had one gig in 2002.

Re: Have you ever googled your name?
I'd never tried until i read this thread but, now that i have, i feel so enlightened.
1, Tim Ward is a computer consultant and contractor. He has been working in the I.T. field for over ten years, is familiar with many technologies, and has worked as a systems analyst, programmer, business analyst, web developer, software tester, database developer, network administrator, office manager, and technical support expert.
And further down the page there is someone who died in the 9-11 attacks.
And someone from The Fall Of Troy.

Dark angel, fall from the heavens above, send me an angel to heal my heart from being in love... After all of the love for you, in my life, but it wasn’t good enough for you, I can’t take no more tears from my eyes.... But it wasn’t good enough for you, I can't take no more hurt from that time....

I know right? I wish I was that handsome.
Re: Have you ever googled your name?
If I use my full name: No results found for "_____________".
If I use my shortened name I get a fair bit, including the EDL dissing me on their racist little forum. Their forum's funny, because they're a shitty little organisation they can't afford proper hosting so when they bang on about pakis, mozzies and n!ggers they end up with Google sponsered adverts for Asian dating websites
