You need to sort your sample out as it goes out of time I recommend using Ableton 8 and don't use shitty loops for your beats i.e. Breakstarr Loop, too obvious when a fellow producer hears your track.

yeah just chop the lyrics into indivudual words if u dont have a program to time stretch (i.e soundforge), it sounds like youve used the original speed from the acappella and not cued it up...

the only sample I used was the vocal and the high snare although I did use a sample a reference for the drums. I since redid the vocals and worked out the drums a bit. Thanx for the suggestions it's appreciated.

Sounds good.. The bass synth is the best part... you really need to fatten up the drums though. Try overdriving your snares or use some other light processing.... just a thought

Put saturation on your bass, and with the beats obviously get the original sound of kicks, snares etc. to sound as good as possible without any plugins then process them using eq's and compression, i also recommend ableton 8 suite highly as you can do everything with ease.
