It strikes me that with a losing battle going on in Afghanistan, a seriously difficult and protracted withdrawl from Iraq and possible unrest in Iran, North Korea, Syria, Yemen, Palestine and Israel that the US would have to be pretty mental to commit to upsetting yet another part of the world.
The implication from both of you that this was man made is pretty offensive without any evidence backing you... this is a genuine tragedy, some of the sights and testimonies reported over the last week have forced me to wipe tears when I've been sat on the Tube... but all you can bring yourself to think of is your petty agenda against the government of a country that's not even your own.
It's a pretty shameful look, tbh.

Haiti was poor as fuck and corrupt to begin with. If this was the goal, it would have been easier just to go in there beforehand, there's much less chance of making a fuss when there's no disaster relief troops there.
yeah, poor and corrupt people would hand the oil to whoever comes in "beforehand", without negotiations and attempts to make the best out of it
while good people send in thousands of troops and a few cans of beans, keeping a nation enslaved by a debt that gives it no chance to develop
Like hackman said, they're already in debt and I doubt their idea of "making the best out of it" would make a big dent in the pockets of Exxon-Mobil. All of this is irrelevant anyway since
IT WAS A FUCKING EARTHQUAKE
Sure, it's possible for situation to be taken advatange of, but there's no way we could have planned it. I mean, does the US have secret tectonic plate-vibrating machines hidden under the Hoover Dam or what?

I read words to the effect of "America did some IT work concerning Haiti in the last few days, therefore America caused the Earthquake." and words to the effect of "Haiti has oil, therefore America, on behalf of the NWO, caused the Earthquake."
No actual evidence... just ideas. Not even any pointers as to how you'd go about creating a "quake" of that magnitude without anyone noticing.

I can see the motive for the oil, that's obvious because of it's value.
but how much money do you think it has costed so far for this aid? It seems a bit like one step forward two steps back.
Also going by this theory, the US would have to have developed a device capable of creating a massively powerful earthquake. R&D on that would be fucking insane!
I'd imagine it is possible, but not cost effective.

Yeah, motives are easy to find... but they don't reliably imply guilt. If you went up to a judge and said "Look, it's obvious he killed him... he hates him!" without providing any proper evidence you'd get laughed out of court.

its the governments giving aid, the oil companies will benefit from the oil without losing anything from giving aid

Actually big companies seem to be helping with aid. I can't speak for oil companies without doing some Googling, but my company (a clearly evil Japanese bank) is matching everything that its employees contribute. Over the last week, employees have pledged around £30k and the company has given the same amount from it's own coffers and will continue to do so.
The whole world's response to this has been pretty healthy... it's frustrating not being able to do more.

ok, we gotta drop this because drty can't imagine an eartquake machine that's cost effective
if you add to that drty made the calculation and the oil+debts < aid from public money and donations you get the thread end!
see pussies, this is how you can earn my respect so you won't get talked down or whatever whine about here [while doing it yourself]

Bit of a fallacy there, fella. Lots of 'big' companies including oil companies help with stuff like this, not for any benevolent reason but because it improves their public image as a caring more ethical multi-national company. <--- that was aimed at Magma, not yourself.

aren't donation deductible from taxes that otherwise would go to the budget but now support the possible cover up of hi-jacking the haiti oil?

This is true, of course, it's just a small fact that runs counter to "Big Business Is Evil" which appears to be an accepted "wisdom" for many.
If you have little enough faith in people then you can twist anything to appear evil. I could find "plausible" suspicious reasons for just about anything that's ever happened. I'm not sure that's a very nice way to live though. It must get very depressing.

Right so because I took your theory, tried to think about it in more detail than you did, I'm some sort of laughing stock?

Welcome.
You doubted Alien Pimp therefore you are retarded, mentally ill, have no balls, have a tiny cock (why always with the cock related insults - must be an insecurity or obsession?), have homosexual affairs with me... oh, and Alien Pimp has shagged your sister and possibly your Mum.
Welcome to Intelligent Debate 101.

you got so messed up while trying to cope with depressing reality by inahling laughing gas and listening to "it's a wonderful world"?
some people have balls and don't need to lie to themselves so they can escape depression, they prefer to deal with it like a man
