sure he's popular but its only a matter of time before the Childrens Television Workshop lawyers find him, and rape him and any profit he's made using the name Cookie Monsta. He not only uses a homonym of one of their trademarked names, but part of their trademarked image, and even samples from the copyrighted show (yes they have rights to that silly COOOOOKIE phrase) ....*facepalm* something tells me he didnt follow the proper legal channels, as i doubt PBS would condone dubstep..
they will probably also find his "mad fit" girl and do her over as well, since he probably hasnt made enough money to satiate the frenzied representatives of a non-profit organization...
and then who's gonna listen to him when he has to change his name and start over as "BlueCreature Who ReallyReally Enjoys Sweetened Baked Goods"???
you dont want to mess with the CTW..... trust me. dont ask how i know... just trust me.

cookie monster
& cookie monsta are not the same but i know he uses the cookie monster on his mix cover which could get him into trouble

Assign lfo to a pack of marylands then compress the chocolate chips.
Add some milk if your after a wetter sound,
For a real nutty sound use hazlenut for best results

Truth.
This, in theory, may have had a chance, however he uses (a slightly altered version of) their image, and enough samples to make the connection pretty clear. its not the name, its the image/samples that will get him in trouble, it just makes it worse that he uses a homonym of their trademark.
I posted my concern (and a link to this thread) in a message to him on facebook, will update with his reply haha

yamaz wrote:Yes but can anyone explain what he does with the pitch? Is he just automating pitch bend wheel or setting an lfo to osc pitch...is it same lfo as freq cutoff or a seperate one? is he using stacked synths and only pitch bending mid or top end of synth? Is this a portamento thing or combination of both?....
I'm not looking to copy his sound but I do want to learn this technique that I've heard being used be a lot of different artists, even outside the dub world.
A good example is in in this song song, its used
throughout:

Big upz to anyone who can clue me in!

u got it its pitchbend wheel and then later on at about 1:00 he uses stacks a high synth over the mid one
