Something a bit more mellow and different from moi

Post by docwra » Fri Jan 12, 2007 6:35 pm

New Track from me called Missing You. Quite pleased with this one, drums are sounding tight as fuck i think. Btw this is an mc track. I'll post up the track when it's vocalled aswell. Few bits im unsure about, still needs a final mix aswell and a few edits etc etc.

Sounds good, doesn't sound muddy and samples are pretty crisp. My only thing is that the pitched up female vocal plays too much. Maybe a less is more kind of thing?

Riddims really good, like the way it almost sounds out of time, and it's got a good bounce with the interplay with the bass

Think you need an mc over the top though, but the grooves sick.
Hmm....

The track is great and has a good bounce, but the vocal sample is irritating and doesn't mesh with the rest of the tune. Replace it with something else perhaps, or if you're going to keep it lower it in the mix and add a touch of reverb.

yeh nice
i like the idea but that vox is a bit much
use it more sparingly n dub it out with nuff delay n reverb!

Yeah, gonna cut back a bit on the vocal. Getting vocalled tommorow. Got an mc and a singer on it. I'll post up when its done.
