yeah those two were his stories. the fly was like the dead zone in that cronenberg was a hired gun.

im on a bit of a horror binge so i watched this last night, it wasn't too bad but wasn't much of a horror either. Just Another gorey shocker on par with films like hostel

You can get the box set 1-3 on Amazon pretty cheap. There's also two spin offs called Scanner Cop and Scanners : The Showdown (Scanner Cop II), I haven't seen either of those though.

The Aviator is def worth a watch. It isn't amazing, I thought it was but after a few hours thinking about it and watching again I wouldn't say it's excellent. 7/10 I'd say.
