Re: wobble help
I found it best to pick one synth and learn it inside and out before trying to use any others. On that note I love FL's Sytrus and find that it can hang with the likes of albino3, predator, blue once you learn how to use it.
This works for all native FL synths that have the INS tab. You can do automation a few different ways. With Event Edits or Automation Clips so its up to you to decide which you want to use. I personally like the old school Event Edits
If your using the 3xOsc the what you do is this.
Step 1) Make the sound that you want to automate with the LFO
Step 2) Open Channel Settings window. ie click on the 3xOsc then click on the INS tab then under it the CUT tab. Right above the Keyboard on the left side you'll see LFO settings. Turn on TB (tempo based timing). Turn the Attack (ATT) off turn knob to the left if you don't want it to have an attack on the lfo. (if you wish to change the filter then its right beside the LFO settings. Play with the ModX and ModY for cut and Res)
Step 3) Turn on the LFO by turning the AMT (amount) knob all the way to the right. Now set your lfo speed by moving the SPD knob to your liking. If you wish to automate the speed of the wobble then see step 4
Step 4) Automating the speed. There are two ways to do this. Most people like using automation clips so here is how. Right click on the SPD knob of the lfo and choose create automation clip. It is helpful to highlight how long you want the automation clip to be in the playlist or it will be the whole song length if you don't.
I work with 8 bar loops to 16 bar loops so I highlight those in the play list window so when i right click on the SPD knob its only 8 or 16 bars long. When you create the automation clip it shows up in the play list as a envelope with a straight line. just click on the line to add points to it and the automation will follow them. You can only hear the changes if you are playing the song and not the pattern mode.
Step 4.5) Automating with the Event Editor. When working in the Event Editor you can hear the SPD changes when listening to the patterns as well as in song mode. All of the steps are the same but instead of right clicking on the SPD and choosing Create Automation Clip choose Event Editor. This will open a envelope graph much like the PR. Then use your pencil tool and draw it out. Much easier imho but thats just how I work. If you have a loop that works for you with the Event editor automation you can always ctrl+A and ctrl+c to copy it. Then go from say pattern1 to pattern2 and open it back up by right clicking on the SPD knob again and choosing event editor once more. Then just hit ctrl+v to paste it in and there you go.
I don't recall the older versions of Fl9 right off the top of my head but I know that in FL9 if you have automation in the Event Editor you will see it if you use the play list clips and not the blocks in the play list.
You can also turn Event edits into Automation Clips if you wish by opening the Event Editor then Pull down arrow (top left) edit, turn into automation clip.

Experiment with LFO delay, keytrigger, lfo phase... AUTOMATE THAT SHIT!
have fun with it

Re: wobble help
You can make the same bass/wobble in FL using Sytrus as he did with Albino. I have a few different versions of it and all of them are spot on to the one he uses in the tutorial.
If you using Sytrus then you would control the lfo inside the setting its on one of the three filters under cut then lfo. Adjust your envelope to your liking and change the speed via the SPD knob

Re: wobble help
Is there lfo decay or phase that can be automated in reason, ableton or massive?

Re: wobble help
you can create an envelope and assign it to the lfo in Massive...
pretty sure you can do something like that in Reason, but I'm not too certain bout that

Re: wobble help
seriously...
I don't know why I try to help people anymore
everytime I do it's a pisstake that references Excision or Datsik's wobbles
certain it's them shamelessly trying to keep their names in peoples heads
