Grasp The Erro is a dj who cut his teeth in Ontario but now calls BC home. He has been behind the wheels of steel since early 2001. His first live performance, 8 years ago, was a Trance set influenced by Tiesto, BT, Digweed and the like. Shortly after that Grasp became heavily absorbed in the world of Hip-Hop and turntablism, going on to take 3rd place in a Regional DMC Qualifier in 2004. A few years later Grasp's day job took him overseas to Australia for 2 years and he was exposed to several new genres of electronica he had not previously heard. Grasp has been honoured to play out across Canada and Australia over the past 8 years. He also created the Radio Station at Lakehead University and was its Director for 3 years. Grasp was constantly producing and performing shows during that time. Hosting 5 different radio shows over the course of 3 years. One thing about Grasp is his diverse background and his live performances are the perfect showcase for that. At one of Graps's shows you could start out with some classic hip-hop end up with some dark and dirty dubstep and have breaks, dnb, and electro all slammed in the middle.

The mix -
The 'Take A.I.M. Series' [Adventures in Melody] is a multi-volume venture into the many realms of electronica. This first volume is dubstep. Opening with slightly broken, melodic and vocal beats heading on to more energetic and dark bangers. This mix truly spans the entire spectrum of the deep genre that is dubstep. The mix is heavily layered with 2 tracks almost constantly playing simultaneously and has turntablism, skratching and sampling sprinkled throughout to add to its diversity.
