yeah mate classic synth and gives a powerfull sound with character - takes a while to get to know it insideout - like a fine woman but if your on a budget id start on soft synths to see what suits ya.Misk wrote:i think id get a nice lil outboard synth, or sampler. but not one of those preset-monster Xio Synths or something similar. id get something that i could actually tweak sounds on. maybe a MS2000 or something.

it really depends on what you want to do. if i had the money, id probably get some sort of mpc...
i hate to say it but its inevitable that the softs will take over sooner or later caus of convenience and the fact that they are sounding better and better
