free sequencer?

is there any decent free sequencer host with good vst support?
just curious about trying some other stuff...

REAPER is not entirely free, but it's uncrippled shareware, so you can get serious without spending.

Computer music's got a new one out, free with the mag (about £6), got vst support and can record audio, so should be useable.

If you've got a bit of money to spend, I think Smartelectronix had a sequencer for about 30 notes.

You could try kvr, just did a search for sequencers/multitracks and it came up with 55 results (most of these cost though, but there's a few freebies)

yeh the only thing u dont get if u dont buy it is the render to disk and asio support. renoise is absolutely wicked

i recommend this as a free option :)

Kiddin me? Buy any decent soundcard, a freebie will come with it, besides, you know you need a new soundcard, yes you do! Stop using the onboard audio, get a real deal!
