TO ALL MAC USERS. BIG PROBLEM..

Post by metalboxproducts » Wed Jan 17, 2007 12:17 pm

I can't seem to start up in os9. I last used the mac last night and shut it down in os9. When i turned it on today it wouldn't start up is os9 and went to osx automaticly. I've tried restarting from the system pref startup disk in osx but all that happens it just restarts as osx. I there i key comand that i can use to start os9 when i turn on the computer?

I have one hard drive partitioned into three.
1 osx
2 os9.2.1
3 audio

When i highlight the os9 parition in osx and then get info it say the capacity is 15.19 gb
Available is 15.37
Used --KB ON DISK(--BTYES)

Looks to me like the partition is fucked.

Do you think there is a problem with the os9 partition? If so, is the only remody repartitioning my hard drive? I understand if i do this i will have to save all the files and apps to my laptop. Would this in anyway compimise the files when i reinstall then to os9 with a fresh install.

Yes i tried that. It didn't work, which was why i had to repair the disk :wink:It just wasn't booting into os9. When i ran the repair funtion there was just a tiny missplaced peace og data. It was sorting in a second. :D

Cheers though
