for the record, i feel compelled to note that the turtles should all have red headbands, as this original cover shows. the image used in the flyer is from the colorized graphic novels that were widely released after the children's cartoon series became popular. the comics were originally drawn in black and white. only today did i realize that the first issue was "intended to parody four of the most popular comics of the early 1980s: Marvel Comics' Daredevil and New Mutants, Dave Sim's Cerebus and Frank Miller's Ronin." it certainly was my introduction to black and white comics.
