The Rosemount Hotel proudly presents a celebration of all things from the Land of the Long White Cloud, New Zealand on its national day Waitangi Day, Saturday 6 February. Kicking off at 5pm see’s Dj (Dolphin Jockey) Pelorus Jack guiding you through the straits of Kiwi favourites with bands and artists such as The Exponents, Crowded House, Herbs, The Chills, The Feelers, Die! Die! Die!, The Mint Chicks and more in the beer garden, while punters can enjoy a tasty pig on a spit until 7pm and sipping on cold Steinlager throughout the evening. The beer garden then moves into live mode with NZ born, Dunsborough locals Mellifluous who will continue to bring on sounds as kiwi as Pavlova, Phar Lap and Russell Crowe with all New Zealand covers and reggae originals until 9. Everything steps up a notch inside with two New Zealand rising stars of the DnB/Dubstep scene Agent Alvin (DnB) followed by Truth (Dubstep) banging out the tunes until close. This day will be like hitting a six off an underarm bowl!
