Soundsystem rivalry may now be commonplace, but these battles of the bass usually take place within a single musical style. Culture Clash (http://www.redbullmusicacademy.com/london/event/?id=2), at London’s Roundhouse on 17th Feb, is the city’s first ever head-to-head to cross genres. And with not two… not three… but FOUR soundsystems competing, the scene is set a veritable sonic Royal Rumble. The real question, though, is: who’s going to triumph?

Rumours are already rife that Goldie, set to appear with his Metalheadz, has been taunting Soul II Soul main man Jazzie B about his certain victory. But Trojan Soundsystem are fielding a particularly strong team too, featuring Roots Manuva and Ricky Ranking. Can Digital Mystikz win the day? Predictions, folks?
