Where's the vocal sample from?

I like the intensity when the vocals come in - the sparse drums after the introduction of the vocals work very well. Reminds me of the intense feel when the chorus comes in in 'Cruel Intentions (the Joker remix.)

Perhaps add a little swing to the beat, it kind of plods along at the moment. But that's personal taste.

I like it, but I think the hhs, crashes and other HF percussion could be pushed out to the front of the mix more, or EQed so that they stand out a bit more. IMO.

I like the drop at 3:32, that's pretty sick, but...... if it was me...... there would be a phat ride cymbal in there.

Stack your drums up too give them more of a delivery , using drum sample packs are often usefull because they have already done a lot of the work ,
the same for your snares Make them really prominent in the mix and only use the reverb snares every now and then f you want the rythm to have punch

On the whole that remix has a lot of potential

like what you've done with it so far, sounds pretty epic.
i reckon u should do what you said, tweek the levels and try n make the different ellements come thru in the mix.
make the overall sound a little crisper!

Cheers peeps, its still in the process, i will defo take all critique on board, it is also a low rate mp3 of it too, but I agree with those that said the drums need a bit more clarity and punch, I know the bassline doesn't change much, which it will do, but ya feelin that kinda bassline? I was going for the kind of vibe that the chase n status remix of white lies - death has got? Anyways, i may leave this remix for a while and come back to it with fresh ears, as im working on something that is sounded DIRT right now thanks again ppl
