what is it about scandinavia and a total drought of decent dance music. god, I fucking love dubstep at the moment and would chop of an arm for some real mashups in stockholm. unfortunately, everyone over here opts for the indie rock shite. as far as I can tell, there's like one night a month full of kids. so if anyone in sweden is reading this forum, lets fuckin do something about it. it's dark outside so why cant it be dark in the clubs?
rant over.

What you are picking up, I left far behind me.
I realized that Sweden is a country where everyone gets a place and theres nothing you can do to roam outside those frames. So I moved

Not that bad in the Malmö/Copenhagen area, though. More and more nights, and Vex'd, Chef/Skream, Scuba, N-Type have all been here. Shackleton+Appleblim and then Skream coming to Malmö in March, and the OHOI crew and others keep pushing things in CPH.

Nah,it's just that his (New York based) label is called Scandinavia (for unknown reasons) that confuses people I guess.
I haven't heard much from him, but I can't say I like his 12" that Planet Mu marketed as dubstep (Harlem Shoot Me/Kids Wake Up) that much.

there used to be a pretty good techy dnb label in gothenburg (i think) called leet recordings, and if i remember correct they ran nights and i think they're running the dnb radio station called leetradio. never been there though but i used to talk a bit with the guy who ran the label. haven't seen him online in a while though and neither have i saw any leet releases to pop out.
but they did release some good tunes while they were up, i guess their distro went bankrupt and that was the end of the label's story.
at least
www.leetradio.com seems to exist.

There's also a night called "Frmt" focusing on grime/dubstep. I've never been there, though.
