Festivals and events

Post by Mutiny » Mon Feb 08, 2010 7:05 pm

Just wondering if anybody could reccomend any music festivals this summer that our DJ's and Soundsystem might be able to get booked for

We are looking for any events in the UK and overseas aswell, we are most likely playing at Glastonbury and Outlook Croatia is also on the horizon.

Any reccomendations would be hugely appretiated!

Heres a little bit about us..

Powah Dubstep Sessions has a community of award winning residents and we guarentee an amazing session with huge vibes all round. You will not be dissapointed.

The most bass around is guarenteed from the mighty AXIS SOUNDSYSTEM, 16,000 Watts of purely epic sound from these HUGE stacks, chestplate bass at its heaviest. As seen at festivals around the country in previous years, including the Big Chill, Wickerman and many others. Although powah is the ONLY place you will hear dubstep played on these stacks. Check the link at the bottom of this post for their site.

Previous Headliners on the night include; Mrk1, RSD, Kromestar, Rusko, Caspa, Oris Jay, Distinction, Ruckspin, F1, Soul Sinners, Exodus, Ashburner & Goli, Jack Sparrow, Luke Envoy, Razor Rekta, Finwa & Signus, Dead Beat, R8 Records, Deadbeat, Rouge State and many more

Our resident DJ's:

-Connectionist (Vagabondz/RangeFM/Outlook/Powah Networx)

-Red J (Subversion/Suburbia/Powah Networx)

-Rush & Mass Effect (DubstepFM/'RushDubstepShow')

-Andi G & Rootikal D (Powah Networx/Suburbia)

-Mutiny (Powah Networx/ARCA)

-VenuQ (Suburbia/DubstepFM/Powah Networx)

-Jinglist (Suburbia/DubstepFM/Powah Networx)

-Dark Angel (Powah Networx)

-Neb (Powah Networx)

With Dr Huxtable at the controls of the Mighty AXIS soundsystem.

Heres a shot of our night in chill/chat mode, while the djs switch over.. good vibes

You could always try Lowlands, it's not till August so you should have plenty of time.
I bet the organisation is looking for some good dubstep DJ's for this year (Rusko, Mala last year was a great succes).

Sounds good 'n all but unfortunately I don't have connections with any crewmembers so I'm just throwing it out there :)

Well I hope this helps out a bit.
