dubstep on the beach

Post by cyrusfx » Mon Feb 08, 2010 7:45 pm

I'm gonna be doing a special set at a beach park here (Kaka'ako Waterfront, Sunday Feb 21st for any locals) and was hoping to round up a few suggestions for new, "beach-friendly" tracks to spin. What I'm looking for is somethin a lil laid back, more on the "dub" part of dubstep, maybe some tribal-type beats, funky & perhaps wobbly but that won't repulse the unconverted..

Thanks guys, I'm always looking for new tunes to try out so have at it.

definitely a bit of untold. theres something well special about a nice clean kick pounding out on the beach with no walls to mess with the sound...

Yeah, I was just listening to her last night, very chilled out stuff, yet there's always a lot going on. She's definitely got her own vibe going.

Thanks for the suggestions, have a good list of tunes lined up to check out... aloha
