my valentines day plan, get a bottle of jack, some modest mouse records, and the box of old valentines letters from my x. briefly look through each and every one and burn them afterwords. then drink more and fall asleep in my own vomit.

I'm always single on valentines day - no matter what (not out of choice - My relationships
tend to end about a week before Christmas for some reason or another - usually after i've
splashed out on a present.)

My routine for the last six years has never deviated -

A quick game of football with the lads,
a drink in the pub,
back home for lunch, (This year I'm doing duck roast, seeing as it's a Sunday)
an evening of gangster films.
(Godfather, The Untouchables, Scarface, Goodfellas.)

There's nothing like seeing James Caan get shot to pieces in The Godfather to make a single
man feel good on a day that's designed to poke fun at single people, and rip off men in a
relationship at the same time.

Oh, and the endless marlon brando impressions help too.
