Proberly one of my favourite comedians of all time i remember watching things like stir crazy as a kid just laughing so hard at this dude then when i got older saw few of his stand ups and couldnt beleive how funny he was hes so funny that eddie murphy even done a sketch about him and bill crosby omg that sketch is too funny. So bill cosby must be ringing me saying like eddie you cant talk that to the kids it will warp there minds. So i ring up richard pryor and say like rich bill cosbys been ringing me man and i dont wana direspect him its bill crosby man. Well eddie tell that mother fucker to have a coke and a smile and tell him i said said shut the fuck up. I dont give a fuck who the mother fucker is. LMAO. Rip thlo sadly missed even in superman 3 he was over funny

THE best stand up ever. Never heard anyone take so many tragic parts of his life and turn them into hilarious routines. Check out the Live on Sunset Strip vid if you haven't already - man's a genius.

Also Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock's live shows are worth seeing if you haven't caught them already, particularly Chappelle's $3 lapdance skit, which creased me up. They've all got their own styles, but there's a certain honesty and lack of machismo that's quite refreshing.
Hmm....

Yeah.. You could argue that modern comedy can be traced back to him and every thing he said.....
